I first started at UPS when I was a full-time college student in 2014. I realized I would have a better and more fulfilling career working not just a union job, but a Teamster job. I finished my Associate’s degree and became a steward shortly thereafter. I started on local sort at the airport and moved on to become an air driver, a 22.4, and a full-fledged RPCD at LKE. I proudly served as a steward for nine of the ten and a half years I spent at UPS. I’ve walked every strike line I could to support my brothers and sisters and I’ve jumped in to help organize wherever I was needed. And even better, I am able to do all of this with my beautiful wife, who is also a Teamster and a steward at UPS. When I was asked to serve as a Business Agent for Local 222, I gladly accepted. I joined with no doubts about the good that the Teamsters, and Local 222, do to allow all of the workers we represent to lead prosperous, meaningful lives, with dignity.
