A little about myself, I went through the automotive program at the SLCC in 1997 – 1999. I then became a Teamster in March of 2003 as a mechanic at Hertz Rental Car at the Salt Lake City Airport. In 2005 I became the shop steward for my department. I worked at Hertz for 17.5 years. I also worked at Geneva Rock as a mixer driver for approximately 8 months in 2021.

I was given the opportunity to become a Business Agent at the Local Union in January 2022. Before he retired, I was personally trained by the one and only the President, Marty Cowin aka the “Legend”. I have successfully negotiated four new contracts that our organizer was able to get across the first finish line. I have been molded to focus on white paper contracts. I am very excited to come and serve the members.
